was probably cause due to many and varied reasons, but one I know about was not helped by this secenario.

Many years ago at an organized hunt near Parker's Crossroads, TN, D-Tex had a table with at least one example each of their detector models. If memory serves me right, most were painted camouflage.

One would think they would be demonstrating all those detectors, right? Nope, all they wanted to do was promote some cordless headphones that the company had just put on the market!!! I don't think that helped their cause at all.

Oh well, some folks find out the hard way, and I suppose others go under despite all their effort to stay afloat.
