It is a great hobby, I enjoy getting out in the fresh air and see what I can find. Some days all I find are throw aways, and other days I find keepers at every other swing.A good source of information is talking to the old folks, they love to tell you about where people gathered and what they did. I would like to find an old dance area where they danced to HELL'S A POPPIN back in the 1920's, couples were jumping all over the place, men would spin women in the air in every direction, I can just see the coins and jewelry flying.
Norm you have a good little detector in the 3300, some of them have falsing issues, I took 2 of them back after I bought them. One froze up and the other one would hit all the way to the right of the scale on every other swing, the third one is a charm, it's a keeper.
