Brown Box Eldorado, Super Tune Test Posted by Tom (AZ) on 6/12/2006, 9:09 pm 70.176.106.119 I did a test on old brownie on buried quarters and in DISC mode with ground balance per the manual, it will hit the quarter at 7". when old brownie is Super Tuned it will hit a buried quarter at 9" in the DISC mode, I get the same results in the ALL METAL mode, so it looks like super tuning brings the DISC mode equal to the ALL METAL mode. I know that different soils will cause the depth to be different + or - a few inches, but it is a adjustment to learn. Another interesting bit of information, the RS 3300 hit the quarter at 8" in both modes, the 9" was a stretch, but I was surprised at it's performance.
