There is a reason I have not bought a T-2, and its because of some careful testing by some friends. As I stated, its almost financially impossible except for a Donald Trump to be able to do this. Trust me, before he buys anything that man has things checked out, and not just by himself. He did not make that money by gambling on everything.
I suspect the T-2 problem may be coil specific, and going to a concentric may cure most things. I have a question that so far Tek has not answered; do they use a crystal controlled TX oscillator? I have 38 years of experience and knowledge of detectors, that said there is still a great deal to find out-but fortunately I have enough contacts to help me stay updated.
Fisher, I'm really worried about-worried if the genius behind the company, and some sort of independence as an entity will survive, and about parts needed for repairs as I have four of their detectors. I truly regret not getting one of the last CZ-20s under their new warranty.
I suspect if and when ANYONE offers a concentric loop for the T-2 there will be a waiting list, and I will be on it, but ubtil then I will bide my time.

and I do apologize for calling you a child. Sometimes my emotions get away from me, and they have done so repeatedly since my Mom died three weeks ago. Who knows, maybe one day we will sit down over coffee and compare finds.
