Your statement of, "don't work for any of them" did not challenge the facts that Fisher is owned by FT, or that the new Teknetics, is in name only, or that Bounty Hunter is perceived as a much lesser detector by serious people who hunt {you don't sound like one of them}, and there are reasons for that perception. Its also fact that the CZ was canned except for the 3D, which is also slated for retirement, as the Goldstrike, 1266X, and Impulse were retired. Fisher not making enough money for the shareholders, is a direct result, and why they were sold off-but don't take my work, do the homework and look up the stuff.
As it is not financially feasible to own every model of every make, there are a few people who are above reproach, or licking the boots of some manufacturer in hopes of some crumbs. They are trustworthy, and their methods are scientific, and their true loyalty is with the hobby not a certain financial interest.
You are not one of them.
You won't read anything adverse on the T-2 at Finds
because of the scud attacks by mindless minions like you, who never ask questions or allow the facts to get in the way. I have not purchased a T-2, and will not because of the problems, and because there are so many detectors available that do work. And that means I am not stuck with one and will continue to praise it until I can dump it. This detector started out as a all-around/coin hunter, and has now gravitated to a relic detector, because in that field of endeavor digging iron is acceptable, and hopefully they will be far enough out and be away from power sources that cause interference, so they can get a little sensitivity. I will not allow a detector to define where I hunt due to its flawed operational characteristics, except for diving, and that reason is not for a fault.
So spread your propaganda at Finds. Who knows, maybe FT will throw you a few goodies. Carl allows people to disagree. There are many people who spout the BS which is between their ears.
