    The response should be about the same on low conductors. The Hammered Farthing is only about 7mm
    across, and very thin, so I see why they are hard to find as are even larger Hammered Coins because the silver content is low. Now the 3300 I.D. number within the notch is around 19 or 20, as opposed to the XL at 12. There is a difference in the two identification systems that is hard to quantify, and the 3300's notch might be wide, still it gave a solid repeatable signal at nickel. Sweeping very fast on the XL did not improve the response.
    Two filters as opposed to four, does not appear to be the deciding factor, but could be revelant.
